Catalin Stancu –
Sales Management Academy, our project dedicated to professionals who lead teams in the commercial area, passed at the beginning of this year to its second stage, proposed since the launch of the program: the construction of a community of graduates. Once a quarter, for 3 hours, the specialists who have graduated from the academy or those who are already enrolled for the next sessions, meet in a semiformal framework for two interventions directly related to common concerns. On the structure validated with the group, for each meeting we will have a speaker from within the community, an SMA graduate who will want to submit to debate a relevant case study in the commercial management area, and a guest speaker (not just from the Sfera Business team), with a new topic in an area of the community’s interest.
On January 16, the “Sales Management Academy Evening Seminar” took place at Ramada North Bucharest, where the workshops of the first edition were held and where the second SMA edition will be held. After the event we drew some relevant conclusions :
- The biggest win of the program is, without discussion, the vibe of this meeting. Obviously, it could be said that the joy of the review is rather a consequence of the quality of the program, the facilitators and the proposed themes. But I am convinced that the main achievement is, in fact, the very way in which the graduates chose to get involved. In ten days of workshop they shared information, participated actively, discussed / debated a lot and exercised various formulas of experiential learning. It was really exciting, at the end of the Academy, to see how close friendships were formed;
- Many of the companies that participated in the first edition sent representatives to the second: Unilever, Josi Logistic, Cafea Fortuna, OLX; In addition, the recommendations to other professionals in the market are living proof that the program has achieved its purpose. Moreover, at the Evening Seminar of 16.01, at which future participants were invited, we found that we are cut from the same cloth. Beautiful people, passionate about professional development in the commercial area;
- The formula with two interventions is validated, and we will continue on it. Diana Stanculescu, IANLP Authorized Trainer by Konschera Resonanz Austria and Authorized Trainer in nonverbal communication and body language, chose to talk about Energy Profiles in Communication and Ahile Voinel, Commercial Director at Cafea Fortuna and SMA I Graduate, brought up a topic related to the structure of the sessions and the connection with the Performance Management;
- We continue on the consolidated message that performance is determined by a mix of hard skills and soft skills. If you want to increase your impact in Commercial Management, you need to focus on the holistic understanding of the business, with concrete tools, learned in business school, and equally on soft skills.
We are excited about this Sfera Business project. We have the privilege of being mentors and facilitators for a fabulous community of beautiful people.
